How to get to Armenia

Armenia is most conveniently reached by air. Direct flights to Yerevan are offered from several European destinations, including Athens, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Moscow, Paris, Vienna and Warsaw. The main international airport, Zvartnots International Airport is located 12 km from the center of Yerevan.

Please note that many flights to Yerevan arrive around 4 am or 5 am. For participants arriving on Sunday October 21st, airport pick-up and transport to the conference venue in downtown Yerevan will be arranged.

Visa requirements

Nationals of many countries, including all EU countries, Russia, Japan and the United States, do not need visa to enter the Republic of Armenia.

Nationals of other countries may need a visa, which can either be obtained upon arrival in Armenia, or at a consular post of the Republic of Armenia in case an official invitation is required.

Yerevan offers comfortable hotels in all different classes and price ranges, where rooms can be reserved using any of the mainstream international hotel booking websites.

At the Ani Plaza Hotel, a 4-star hotel in the center of Yerevan and the conference venue, a block reservation of single and double rooms has been made for the duration of the conference. Conference participants can book one of these reserved rooms until July 1st at a discounted rate of 35,000 dram (approx. 60 Euro / 75 USD) per night for a single and 42,000 dram (approx. 70 Euro / 85 USD) per night for a double room.
